Hugo loves elves but is teased by his peers, so he tries to force himself to grow up. During a family Christmas vacation, he discovers elves living at their hotel and struggles not to help Sne, an elf girl whose parents are lost. Sne wants to return home, but she cannot make the reindeer fly because she has never learned magic.
