In 2898 AD, roughly six thousand years after the Kurukshetra war, Ashwatthama prepares for a final battle of redemption in a dystopian world. A sign of hope gives that struggle direction, but Bhairava, a wisecracking bounty hunter weary of his perilous life, becomes an obstacle to the unfolding effort. Their opposing positions place Ashwatthama’s purpose and Bhairava’s self-interest in direct conflict as the battle approaches.
