At the 2016 Olympics, Brazil’s women’s 4x100 relay team is close to gold when a careless mistake by young Maria Lúcia brings disqualification. Adriana refuses to forgive her, and their paths diverge: Maria remains an athletics prospect while Adriana fights in MMA. Four years later, both join a new relay team for the Tokyo Olympics, alongside veterans Rita and Jaciara and newcomer Bia, forcing them to confront their shared past and rebuild themselves as a team.
