French writer Christine Angot travels to Strasbourg on business, returning to the city where her father once lived and where she first met him at thirteen. After his death, his wife and children remain there. Carrying a camera, Angot visits her family and presses them to clarify their attitudes toward the sexual abuse he inflicted over many years.
