Baba and Avinash live with their widowed mother in a shanty house, where she works as a housemaid. After Baba kills a man who attempts to rape her, the family and an orphan named Nawab seek shelter with an underworld don known as Uncle. Determined that Avinash should study, Baba enters a life of crime to support his brother’s education. When Avinash becomes a police officer, he discovers that Baba and Nawab are among the criminals listed on his first assignment.
