After an alien invasion turns Earth into a ruined home, Cheng Ling survives by scavenging garbage until an alien hellhound attacks him. Zhu Rong’s team, including Gao Ren, helps him escape, and Cheng Ling accepts their mission to stop the aliens’ plans while searching for hope for humanity. Plunderers encircle the group, hellhounds chase them, and they encounter Dr. Dojepamo, whose technology can subdue the creatures. At a supposed resistance point, they find a trap set by hellhound hunters, leaving the team facing a new danger.
