In Chaqu-Pura, Hyderabad, unemployed Nawab lives with his elderly parents and spends his days with fellow idler Baba, relying on their auto-rickshaw driver friend Abbu while they pursue petty theft and scams. After Nawab’s father throws them out, the pair borrow money from Abbu’s landlord but lose it gambling at carrom. They plan a burglary to repay the debt, only to be arrested, with their embarrassment broadcast on television and consequences reaching their families, Abbu, and the landlord.
