Call Me Alma

Alma works as a high-end bar girl who has made prostitution her profession, catering to wealthy regulars including a lawyer she calls Tiger Joe, a bank executive she calls Kabayo, and a student who claims to love her. Her routine shatters when Sheila, an aging street prostitute, introduces herself as the mother who sold Alma as a baby. The encounter pulls Alma toward the father she never knew and a painful history she has long avoided. Now both women, shaped by poverty and the men in their lives, must decide what they will become.
