In 1604, Miyamoto Musashi attacks the Yoshioka family dojo and defeats its master, Seijūrō, along with Seijūrō’s younger brother, Denshichirō, in two duels. Seeking to preserve their reputation, the family organizes a counterattack involving all 100 of its members and hires 300 additional samurai. Musashi then faces the challenge of defeating all 400 opponents in the battle for which he is best known.
