In 1995, high school graduate Sonja Risse is found dead in a forest, with a music box playing “Hush Little Baby” beside her. Twenty-five years later, journalist Stefanie Schneider films a dead man beside the same melody in Cologne. Her colleague Jan Römer sees a connection, and together with her he returns to Wilzenberg to question people linked to Sonja, uncovering contradictions and gaps in the original investigation.
