Pedro, a ruthless and antisocial 35-year-old nurse, makes life difficult for his coworkers while dealing drugs and running illegal poker games. After a mysterious patient with whom he often argues dies beside him, Pedro receives a magical book that transforms him into an angel-like figure with supernatural powers. He initially uses these abilities for personal gain, but gradually begins to consider helping other people.
