After a road collision leaves 65-year-old night-shift doctor Pierfrancesco unable to drive, his sciatica flaring and Mario’s bicycle destroyed, both men face trouble at work. Pierfrancesco proposes a wireless-headset arrangement: Mario will visit the doctor’s patients under his remote guidance, while the two use the doctor’s car for Mario’s deliveries. Their improvised partnership leads to a series of misadventures as the stranded doctor and delivery man try to keep their jobs.
