In the nineteenth-century Russian Empire, Count Draculov leaves distant Transylvania for Moscow, seeking a mansion to buy. Young lawyer Pyotr Smirnov handles the deal, but after the count sees a photograph of Varvara, he becomes interested in her. Draculov heads into Moscow in search of the bride, while Pyotr follows the three-hundred-year-old vampire to protect Varvara and Vasya van Helsing tries to untangle the events.
