Five stories follow people of different classes, genders, and ages as they confront pressures that limit their freedom. A girl balances dreams against social expectations; women workers are denied bathroom breaks; a housewife faces a crisis; a maid is caught between her employers; and a sewage worker questions an atrocity. Their struggles unfold through tears and smiles.
