Chris travels upstate with his girlfriend, Rose, to spend a weekend with her parents. Because they appear overly accommodating, Chris initially interprets the family's behavior as nervousness about Rose's interracial relationship. As the visit continues, increasingly disturbing discoveries unsettle that explanation and draw him toward a truth he could never have imagined. The weekend leaves Chris facing the family's disturbing truth.
