After MercyMe’s “I Can Only Imagine” propels Bart Millard into sold-out arenas and a thriving music career, unresolved parts of his past begin to strain the family he has built, particularly his bond with his son, Sam. During the band’s largest tour, newcomer Tim Timmons becomes an unexpected friend while concealing hardships of his own. Bart must confront what he has avoided and work to mend his relationships with Sam and his wife, Shannon, before success separates him from them.
