Set in the 1970s, KGF follows a fierce rebel whose rise challenges the brutal oppression of the Kolar Gold Fields. His rebellion carries him through the struggle against that oppression, and his presence becomes a symbol of hope to legions of downtrodden people. The story centers on his rise against oppression and his emergence as a figure of hope for those living under it.
