During the Kadamba reign, King Vijayendra, ruler of the fictional feudatory land of Bangra, enters the forest of Kantara and meets his final fate. His son, Rajashekara, responds by closing the realm’s borders, but Prince Kulashekara later tears that barrier open in a massacre. Seeking prosperity, Berme crosses into the contested divide, setting the Kingdom and Nature against one another in a struggle shaped by faith, power, and destiny.
