Abhijith, Abhilash—known as Appu—and their mother Padma live happily until they learn that family friend Sidharthan, a poet, has left his properties to Abhijith, also called Allu. Appu suspects that Allu is the late poet’s son, and his doubts disrupt the family. For certain reasons, Appu eventually has to leave the house.
