Kowpina Shastram follows Pithambaran, owner of Gurukripa Catering, after he accepts responsibility for catering Pundarikaksha Kurup’s daughter’s wedding. Pundarikaksha Kurup is described as very conservative. On the eve of the ceremony, however, Pithambaran is drunk beyond saving. The story brings his catering commitment and his condition together at the moment when the wedding is about to take place.
