At a Bulgarian resort, Yura Skvortsov seeks happiness while recovering from mental wounds, but the low season brings disappearances: first a dog, then a lion, and finally the remaining tourists. As unknown monsters threaten living things, Yura and the other heroes discover that alcohol is poisonous to them and face a battle for survival and love.
