In conflict-torn western Myanmar, Buddhist clinic owner Hla provides care to Muslim patients despite the danger, while Nyo Nyo, a Muslim apprentice midwife, assists and translates. Although her family has lived there for generations, Nyo Nyo’s community is treated as intruders. With Hla’s encouragement and challenge, she works toward becoming a dependable health care provider.
