In a small northern town, criminalist Laura Linhartová investigates the murder of a young girl found by the river. Her former colleague Adam Beneš joins the case, while a recently convicted killer linked to a similar crime becomes the main suspect. New evidence overturns the apparent solution and widens the circle of suspects, forcing Laura and Adam to navigate a complicated investigation alongside the tension created by their shared past and contrasting characters.
