Dismissed by his family as a no-good slacker, Laxman is asked by his brother Ram Narayan to deliver money from a jewelry store to a businessman. Instead, he buys Seema an expensive necklace, only for Rita to discover the jewelry is fake and accuse Ram. When Rita is murdered and Ram is imprisoned, Laxman decides to go straight, while his actions put his own life, Sita, and his nephew in jeopardy.
