Famous lawyer Viswanath lives with his widowed mother and physically handicapped sister until he sends Jegan, the rich magnate GMK’s son, and fellow criminal Lokaiya to prison for rape and murder. GMK uses his influence to have Viswanath jailed on a false charge, and his mother dies from heartbreak. After his release, Viswanath pursues the culprits, even as he temporarily loses his eyesight.
