After a theatre premiere, the group’s celebration in a bar is disrupted by a drunken Soviet officer offering petrol for sale. Sensing the room’s hidden hostility and hesitation, he prolongs the intrusion, and drawing his pistol turns the gathering into a chaotic confrontation with the Russian occupation.
