Appu struggles to make ends meet through odd jobs while searching for stable employment. When he meets Amminikutty and falls in love, he tells her he holds a well-paying government job, concealing his actual circumstances. His false claim shapes their relationship as he tries to maintain it. The arrival of Amminikutty’s cousin, Das, in town further complicates Appu’s plans, leaving him to manage the pressure created by his deception.
