Kishinchand, a passport forger under police surveillance, agrees to abandon crime after pressure from his wife, Shanti, and son, Pyarelal. A lucrative request from Shyamlal draws him back, and the deal ends with Inspector Shinde dead during a struggle. Kishinchand then relocates to London, where he becomes known as the underworld figure King.
