Carlos Saura creates a brief visual account of the Spanish Civil War from more than thirty images, drawings, and photographs. By printing, manipulating, playing with, and filming these materials, he builds a story seen through the eyes of a child and the surrounding world, while evoking the horrors of conflict beyond Spain.
