School's Out Forever

After expulsion from his private school, fifteen-year-old Lee Keegan returns to St. Mark’s when a catastrophe kills most of the world’s population. His father is dead, his mother remains abroad, and the instruction to go back leaves him seeking safety among the school’s walls. Yet a parish council militia controls the area, while the disaster unsettles his best friend and Lee’s feelings for the school nurse distract him from staying alive.
