On a remote island, a man who has chosen exile pulls a young girl from a violent storm. Her arrival breaks the isolation he has maintained and places him in a new protective role. To keep her safe, he must leave seclusion behind and confront enemies connected to the life he abandoned. The rescue becomes a struggle between his hidden past and the danger now closing around them.
