During the war, a man’s family is brutally murdered in their house. When he returns, he dismantles the building, loads its pieces onto a truck, and sets out to rebuild it somewhere safe in their honor. His plan is interrupted when the commander responsible for the killings reappears, determined to finish the job. Known as a man who refuses to die, he is drawn into a relentless cross-country chase while transporting the house toward its new home.
