At the beach, lonely police officer Georgie watches a queer couple whose tender intimacy exposes what is missing from her emotionally arid heterosexual relationship. Her interest grows into hungry sensuality, while time appears to slow and soothing touches and sounds acquire a sinister edge, leaving Georgie caught in an increasingly charged fixation.
