After returning to her empty hotel, young horror-film actor Rose Hepburn becomes trapped in an old freight elevator with an unusual stranger when it stops on the twelfth floor. With a storm approaching and no mobile signal, suspicion grows after she learns he is Daniel Reed, a camera operator from her latest movie who seems obsessed with her. As the elevator hangs precariously above a possible plunge, harsh truths and actions begin to unfold.
