The Andersson and Blixt families travel to Karin’s aunt Hulda for a Midsummer celebration, but Sophie breaks up with Sune just before they depart. Determined to win her back, Sune plans a romantic holiday modeled on the celebration his parents shared twenty years earlier. His elaborate idea creates complications as he struggles to remember that the people around him may not want the same things he does.
