At an age when marriage is under consideration, two young people meet with very different intentions. The girl seeks the meeting hoping to deny the match, while the boy approaches it with a positive mindset. He does not reveal his original identity, making their encounter a clash between her intended refusal and the concealed truth he carries into the meeting. Their meeting places these opposing positions at the center of the story.
