Etienne, an often unemployed but endearing actor, leads a theater workshop inside a prison. He gathers an unlikely troupe of prisoners to perform Samuel Beckett’s Waiting for Godot, then receives permission to take them on tour beyond the prison, giving him an opportunity to make the production succeed.
