Eighteen-year-old Paul lives with bipolar disorder, though others see him as an ordinary teenager. After a depressive episode leads to a suicide attempt, his single father, Hardy, commits him to a therapy center for teenagers with mental illnesses. There, Paul encounters others facing mental-health problems and must decide whether to keep running from his illness.
