In the early 1990s, Dr. Jacobo Grinberg builds an internationally recognized career at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, researching telepathy and neurophysiology. In 1994, he disappears without a trace, and police find no clear explanation. His research materials, including his computers, vanish with him, leaving the circumstances of his disappearance unresolved.
