After showing up at his son’s kindergarten for the first time in a long while, a father turns a game of hide-and-seek into a fantasy about dragons, portals, and magical worlds. When the mother arrives, he asks for five minutes to say goodbye, telling the boy he must fly away for twenty years to preserve their magic. In the child’s memory, his father becomes a dragon and disappears through a drawn door, leaving behind a broken-winged toy.
