In 1997, artist Girish Dahiwale immerses a Ganesha idol at Bombay’s Chowpati beach during the final day of the Ganapati festival. After Dahiwale dies by suicide a year later, Ashish Avikunthak completes the film twelve years on, returning to that footage as a requiem and an inquiry into death.
