Original title: Wunderland: Vom Kindheitstraum zum Welterfolg

This documentary presents Miniatur Wunderland, the vast model railroad and miniature universe created by twin brothers Frederik and Gerrit Braun. From its Hamburg exhibition, opened in 2001, the film surveys model landscapes stretching from the Elbphilharmonie concert hall to Antarctica, bringing their childhood dream and elaborate creation to the big screen.
