Clark Moore

Born in Laredo, Texas, Moore spent much of his youth outdoors, with hunting, fishing, climbing, and time in nature forming a large part of his life. He attended high school in Laredo, where he also began performing onstage. Although he often found himself in trouble under the school’s demanding standards, acting gave him an early sense of direction and strengthened his desire to pursue the profession.

College brought Moore to the University of Texas at Austin, where he found a film program in a busy city with an active small-scale film market. In Los Angeles, the early years were financially difficult. Acting work came through occasional commercials, while other jobs helped cover his expenses. Repeated setbacks became part of the experience, but continued effort gradually brought him co-starring opportunities on Masters of Sex and Brooklyn Nine-Nine.

As his credits accumulated, Moore landed a recurring part on The Last Ship. During that same period, he was selected from thousands of actors auditioning across New York, Miami, Atlanta, London, and Los Angeles to lead a ten-minute Mini Cooper promotional film titled This Day Forward. Joachim Bach directed the project. The opportunity helped establish Moore as a working actor, and he soon took the lead in “The Beast Within,” part of Aaron Manky’s Amazon Prime show Lore.

Moore’s later credited roles include Ryan in the 2017 television title Evil Things, Hugh in Lyla and Michael in The Wrong Blind Date, both released in 2022, and Gerald in The Last Deal from 2023. In 2024, he appeared as Griffith Walker in Gaslit by My Husband: The Morgan Metzer Story. His career has also opened space for future ambitions in producing and directing.
