About Tarcísio Meira
Born in São Paulo on October 5, 1935, Tarcísio Pereira de Magalhães Sobrinho adopted the professional name Tarcísio Meira. His career covered cinema, theater, and television, and he remained connected to Brazilian television drama for decades. His work included characters on opposing sides of the moral spectrum, from good men to villains, while his reputation placed him among the leading actors and heartthrobs of his generation.
