Actress Qin Fei joins a rescue medical team and volunteers heading to a disaster area in southwest China, where her motives are initially doubted. By risking her life to save others, she earns the recognition of captain Xing Zhizhi, and the two grow closer. Qin Fei later discovers that Xing was the doctor who saved her in an earlier accident, linking their lives as they support each other while pursuing their careers.
