Undercover police officer Rukmini enters a traditional family through marriage, taking on the role of the “Aadarsh Bahu,” or ideal daughter-in-law. Inside the household, she must present herself according to that expected identity while continuing the concealed work of an undercover cop. Her life therefore unfolds along two simultaneous tracks, with her marriage and her assignment bound together by the question of how long she can preserve her cover.
