Anu travels to Varanasi to perform her mother’s last rites, but a priest gives her another obligation: deliver an ancient relic to a temple in Tamil Nadu. She intends to disobey the command. Fate, however, intervenes, leaving Anu facing the priest’s request and the path it sets before her.
