Blood River, an assassin guild controlled by the Su, Mu, and Xie clans, is thrown into a succession struggle after its patriarch is poisoned during a mission. Su Muyu protects the dying leader while seeking a cure, facing Su Zhe and Su Changhe along the way and meeting healer Bai Hehuai. After the power struggle, Su Changhe takes the patriarch’s seat and Su Muyu leads the Su clan as they pursue the Other Shore Plan.
