In 1974 Sainte-Foy, two dissatisfied couples send their children to summer camp while their own marriages deteriorate. Returning home, they are forced to confront the state of their relationships but cannot resolve the problems between them. Their inability to deal with their troubled marriages leads them into criminal lives, eventually making them infamous figures in the history of organized crime in Quebec City.
