Hasratein follows five real women in separate stories as they confront a male-chauvinistic taboo and seek to explore their sexuality and desire. Each hopes to experience moments of true passion, but society, family, and other factors affecting their lives create obstacles. As they pursue those desires, the women face the odds and challenges imposed by the people and circumstances around them, with their choices placed against social and familial pressure.
